Seminars   Melissa Duran, CPDT is an energetic, engaging speaker who shares her knowledge of dog behavior with insight and wit.  She has been a guest speaker at local schools and community organizations, giving presentations on dog behavior and language, dog safety, training techniques, and dog/human communication, incorporating illustrations, photos, video and written materials.  Her listeners continue to send us enthusiastic reviews, praising her work and asking for more.


CGC Evaluations   The American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen program, open to pure and mixed-breed dogs, certifies dogs that have demonstrated that they are safe and well-mannered in a public setting, in company with people and other dogs.

Most organized dog activities such as agility and therapy require CGC certification prior to participation.  Many apartment complexes waive their pet fees or deposits for CGC dogs, and some homeowner's insurance companies offer discounted rates for CGC-certified pets.

Melissa Duran, CPDT is an AKC-certified Canine Good Citizen evaluator.  She offers evaluations at local events and upon request.  Evaluations are free to class participants and consultation clients.
